Day 4 Recap: Sipes scores game winner for Derryfield, against Lebanon, 1-0.

Tori Sipes scored her goal with eight minutes to go, as Derryfield final broke down Lebanon's defense, led by goalie Hope Brown (16 saves), and NFHCA All-Northern New England selection, Emily Hunnewell. Derryfield dominated the possession game, having 15 corners to Lebanon's one.

Lebanon's Leah Mayes looked dangerous on the counter attack when she was able to get in behind, but Derryfield's defense was always able to recover and protect their circle. Derryfield's Lindsey Stagg & Lebanon's Hunnewell battled most of the day in the midfield, but Stagg came out on top. Proving why she earned D2 Player of the Year last year, and, in our opinion, why she is the second best player in the state, only next to her friend and club teammate Josie Varney. However, be careful Varney, Stagg is coming! (No, it was not supposed to be a Game of Thrones reference, for anyone who watches the show.)

Farrar's second half defense leads Exeter past Bedford, 2-1

Exeter's Teagan Healy & Alyssa Pietz, put Exeter up 2-0 before the half, as they each scored once, one assisted by Olivia Hampe, and the other by Pietz. Going into the second half Bedford never stopped fighting as Grace Rooney & Chamberlaine Bell led their attack, but Exeter's Audrey Farrar consistently cut them down. Farrar abused her pace & defensive ability to stop any Bedford counter attack from happening. Bedford finally broke through with a string of corners from about 2:30 left in the game, until 45 seconds were left when Rooney took a shot on net and Emily O'Keefe deflected it in. Bedford had another scary chance with just under 20 seconds to play when a through ball got through Exeter's defense, but goalie Delaney Hayward (7 saves) timed her attack perfectly, as she came off her line and cleared the ball, ending Bedford's chances.

Allanah Johnson scores four, as Mascenic coasts past Franklin, 10-1.

Bevens puts away five for Pelham, as they take a win over Conant, 8-2.

Gosselin nets a hat trick, as Guertin blanks Concord, 3-0.

Lisauskas scores twice & picks up an assist, in Pinkerton's 3-0 win, over Merrimack.

Burson puts away two, to lead Kennett past Merrimack Valley, 4-0.

Schwarz & Smith each score two, to lead Hanover over Plymouth, 5-1.

Sargent scores four goals, leading Winnacunnet against Keene, 5-0.

Dover & Central end scoreless, 0-0. Monadnock & Portsmouth blank Hopkinton & Sanborn, 2-0.
