Entering the game, Tilton was without one of their star players, Tia Raspante, due to injury, and as the game went on it showed.
Tilton came out strong earning a couple of corners, but that's all they would get in the first half, having only one shot on goal. After that, Proctor took complete control of the game. Proctor scored just once in the half, at the 15:30 mark, as PJ Shaw found Nicole Kimtis, to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, it was more of the same. Three minutes into the half, Shannon Roycroft assisted Sophie Nasvik, to take a two-goal lead. With 18:23 left to play, Nasvik, put a through ball into Shaw, who beat one defender, then made a 35-yard dash into the circle, and tucked it past Tilton's goalie, Maggie Callender, for a comfortable 3-0 lead. Two minutes later, Tilton would get one back, as Queena Yuan found Lovisa Werner, but it was too little too late. Tilton would have a few more chances down the stretch, but Rachel Simekvich, our #3 ranked goalie, came up with some good saves, including one great back to back save. Simkevich was on the ground, after making the first save, then made a great diving save to her right after one of the Tilton players tried to lift it by her. With eight minutes left, Sarah Hearns inserted on a corner, to Shaw, who ripped a shot into the bottom left corner, to kill off the game and give Proctor a 4-1 victory.
