Day 16 Recap: Ryan nets her 50th career goal, as Gilford rolls past Franklin, 8-0.

As usual, Gilford started fast, as Nicole Berube assisted Jill Lachapelle two minutes into the game. Two minutes later Kellie Ryan found Laurel Gingrich, to go ahead 2-0. Four minutes later Berube scored, three minutes after that Berube assisted Gingrich, for her second goal of the game. 60 seconds later Berube picked up her third assist of the match, as Kellie Ryan netted her 50th career goal. Ryan scored as she did a reverse chip shot, as she put it just to the left of the goalkeeper. She could not have scored in a more perfect way, doing it at her homecoming, in her senior year. Maybe doing it in the State Championship as the game-winning goal, but she already checked that off last season. The goal was not overly exaggerated, as Ryan picked up the ball and ran it back to the 50. Even though the milestone is great for Ryan and deserves a big congratulations, she was way more concerned that the goal helped cushion Gilford's lead, and wants to move on to the next game, to make sure she gets back to the State Championship, so she has a chance to repeat before she exits Gilford Field Hockey.

To wrap up the first half scoring, Cloe Boucher found Ella Harris, as she scored her first varsity goal.

Four minutes into the second half,  Berube found Bri Salanitro, to go ahead 7-0. 60 seconds later Berube connected again with Ryan, as she wrapped up the scoring, and finishing off the game, 8-0.

A big congratulations to Kellie Ryan for scoring her 50th career goal, congrats Kellie!

Raspante continues to perform, assisting four & scoring two, as Tilton rout Vermont, 10-0.

Tilton started off much quicker, Saturday afternoon, than they did Friday night, scoring three minutes into the contest, as Kaitlin Bardellini assisted Lovisa Werner, for the eventual game winning goal. Two minutes later the duo Tia Raspante and Bardellini connected, as Bardellini got her first goal of the season. With 18 minutes to go, in the first half, Raspante assisted Werner, to take a 3-0 lead. With nine minutes to go, Kirsten Chandonnet scored her first of the season, three minutes later Raspante scored to take it to halftime 5-0.

Five minutes into the second half Raspante found Olivia Dematos, who scored her first varsity goal. Three minutes later Raspante assisted Jackie Hill, to go up 7-0. With 15 minutes to go, Ryan Thompson made a great run down the sideline, getting to the baseline, and making a perfect cross to Werner, as she completed her hat trick. Five minutes later, Hill returned the favor to Raspante, and four minutes after that Hill found Kayla Currin to wrap up the scoring, 10-0.
