Day 11 Recap: Gingrich scores one & assists one, as White Mountains keeps Gilford awake, 5-2.

Gilford may have had a three goal difference at the end of the game, but it was far from a dominant performance. Gilford went up first, as they always do, thanks to a goal from Bri Salanitro and Laurel Gingrich, but before halftime White Mountains cut the deficit to one, to take it to halftime, 2-1.

A minute into the second half Kellie Ryan netted her first goal, with an assist from Gingrich, and you thought they would run away with it the second half, but that was not the case. White Mountains never stopped fighting, continuing to counter attack Gilford at every opportunity they had, using their pace to get down the field. White Mountains would once again to make it a one goal game, as they scored with 17 minutes to go in the game. White Mountains continued to fight, to make sure you watched the game, but with seven minutes to go Salanitro found Ryan, to make it 4-2, then with 90 seconds to go Nicole Berube assisted Sydni Lehr, to kill off the game, and seal a 5-2 victory.

All credit to White Mountains for making the game incredibly entertaining to watch, and not backing down from the #2 ranked Gilford.

Frittenberg makes ten saves for Kennett, but Derryfield gets their revenge for last season, as they sneak by Kennett, 2-1.
